I have chosen to decorate the elephant in Lapis Lazuli, a beautiful blue stone known for its soothing properties, to enable the viewer to experience a moment of inner peace and calm in our frantic world. Lapis Lazuli reflects the colours of the sky and water and it is a symbol of our blue planet’s fragility. The elephant represents wisdom, strength and stability in todays challenging world.
