About Sue
Sue has over 25 years experience as a freelance artist. She enjoys working to commission and is also artist in residence in a bunch of Birmingham’s primary schools. Sue’s main area of expertise is with murals, painting and drawing, but she also runs workshops and enjoys sharing her skills, teaching art to the next generation. She has been involved in many sculpture trails for Wild in Art.
“With Slough proudly having had the first ever Zebra Crossing, I wanted to celebrate that with the sculpture ‘Elephant Crossing’. The elephant is painted with a zebra design. I would just love if it could be sited on the high street close to the site of the original crossing.”
